Introduction
Now that I am over the worst effects of a Cold I finally get to wrap up the final round robin action .

Thunderbirds 54 Magic 35

My Thoughts
Due to the fact I was coming down with the Cold I am now getting over I wasn’t able to the results the attention they deserve . First up the Steel proved to good for the Swifts . Calculations then showed that to reach the semis the Firebirds the Firebirds had to either beat the Fever by ten to eleven goals or restricted them to less then 45 goals . A tortures two days lay in front of the Steel and there fans .
Next up the Pulse came crashing back to earth with a heavy loss to the Vixens . In the wake of the Magic heavy loss to the Thunderbirds Noeline Taurua has admitted that some members are mentally weak . A long story short a friend of mine backed out of going to the Tactix vs Mystics game . So I took my Mum in his place . Despite the fact it wasn’t the most exciting of games she still enjoyed the atmosphere and the speed of the game .
The Tactix won the game because they turned over less ball then the Mystics did and in the process , they gave departing captain Julie Seymour the send off she deserves . Now I need to order a huge humble pie because the Steel took fourth place . So it turned out that the Fever lost on the scoreboard and the Firebirds failed to reach the semis .
How bizarre is it that both teams managed to lose ?
Such is Netball and sport I guess .
Looking ahead to the first round of semi finals I am picking the Vixens and the Thunderbirds to win there respective matches .
But hey the Steel made the top four so what do I know ?
For the Firebirds and five other teams it was a case of ” For you the war is over . ” At least for this year anyway .

Haha I’m pretty sure I said something about it being possible for the Steel to make the semis!
I’m happy for the Tactix, Julie Seymour definitely deserved to go out on a high. Man netball will be weird without her!
Magic – wtf?! I didn’t see any of the game, but I can only assume they all had the worst game of the season?
Firebirds-Fever – yeah that would have sucked for both teams. But I’m not too bothered lol as long as the Steel made the semis.
Now we are in the odd position of both ‘lower-ranked’ teams in semi-finals games having beaten their higher-placed opponents in round robin. I wonder if that will help. I hope at least one NZ team makes the final.

Well I sure hope it was the Magic worst game of the season . If the Magic fail to win the title then Noeline Taurua need to find some other avenue of employment . The only reason there hasn’t been more pressure on her is the lack of a obvious replacement . Umm I don’t follow your last comment since the Thunderbirds failed to beat the Vixens in there two round robin games .
